Green Building

AAA Woodwork is actively involved with Green Building. As members of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), we are doing our part to conserve energy and save the environment. We are proud to participate in numerous projects that have either achieved LEED certification already, or are currently working towards certification.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a building rating system developed by USGBC. Buildings designed and constructed according to this nationally-recognized criteria have little or no negative impact in five areas on either the environment or the occupants:

• Sustainable site development
• Water savings
• Energy savings and renewable power
• Material and resource conservation
• Indoor environmental quality
